Dan Corcoran

Principal

Dan Corcoran has accumulated over twenty-seven years of experience in architecture and construction, both as the founder and principal of Studio DEC and in collaborative settings. He has experience with both new and recycled materials, and with both residential and commercial construction. His broad background, including the Sustainable Building Advisor certificate program (2008), gives him the unique perspective needed to execute today’s projects from permitting to completion.

When he is not working, Dan can be found leading tours of Seattle’s historic neighborhoods through the Seattle Architecture Foundation. He has also volunteered his skills in the recovery efforts following Hurricanes Sandy and Katrina. He is an enthusiastic record collector and an avid runner, staying active by competing in half marathons and the occasional run or bike to the office.
